This year, there’s been a surge in financial relief efforts to help countless American families get back on their feet after a horrifying 2020. And, there’s still so much work that needs to be done. In recent weeks the federal government is providing additional ways families can get more money to help with the bills and put food on the table.

If you have kids, you should be able to benefit from the new round of Covid aid the federal government recently passed. The $1.9 trillion package included a Child Tax Credit that would send an advance of $3,600 per qualified child. This advance would be split and distributed over several months starting in July.
